V 0.1.1

Hello Everyone, and welcome to the release of V 0.1.1 of What the Tank?!

V.0.1.1 features a frame of the first level, as well as player movement and some projectiles as well.

Some of the details on these features include:

    |> 2 playable tanks controlled by the same keyboard. These tanks can only move in a linear moveset, however they can rotate their tank change their destination. There is a Player 1 tank (Red) and Player 2 tank (green) and each can shoot projectiles from their turret barrel which is conrtrolled by a button press corresponding to the player.

    |> The bullet projectile was added this patch. The bullet bounces off walls 4 times before destroying itself. It will also destroy itself if it hasnt collided with a tank after a few seconds. This will be one of the few unique projectiles i will add throughout the project. An example of the bullet projectile is shown below.

    |> The level or map that is in this base project is going to be the first of at least 5 levels. This level features a monotone maze, in which                      players must navigate their way to each other to destroy each other. The level is shown as in the screenshot below:

However even with a simple project like this there are already some bugs found by play testers i have yet to fix or am fixing, these include:

    |> The tank will spin out of control when hit by a bullet, this has since been fixed since release of V.0.1.1

    |> The walls dont properly reflect the bullet projectile as it can sometimes bounce weirdly or even phase through the wall. This will  hopefully be fixed in the patch of next week V.0.1.2

So what can you hope for the upcoming V.0.1.2? Here's a list of potential features you can expect:

    |>There will be four new levels added with varying changes to the maze and/or border of the level.

    |>The wall collision bug should be fixed in the new patch.

    |>The shield and mine powerups will be implemented.

Until next patch...
